She has always had a deep interest in art and feels that the joy of painting is without bounds. </div> <div>        Raised in New Mexico and having lived in several other Southwestern states, she feels that this did have influence on her interest in color, form and the choreography of light. </div> <div>        When taking a class in the 1970's, she started painting with watercolor. In the following years, as time permitted, she studied with various art teachers, leading her to investigate the use of other mediums and untried approaches in painting. While admiring other peoples' work, and incorporating some of their techniques and principles, she continues to search for her own uniqueness and interpretation.
