Candice Miller
Candice Solomon-Miller was born and raised in Denver,Colorado, to parents well known in the community. Her mother taught school in Denver for 33 years and her father worked for the government.She was taught to paint and draw by her father who was an artist commissioned by churches to do oil paintings and who was also a cartoonist for a local newspaper. Candice played concert piano at age 16, and later attended the University of Southern Colorado as a music major. Soon after, she became a rock performer, filling in with different acts that came to town. This helped pay for college. Ten years ago she became a serious artist, appearing in juried shows such as Art in the Park, La Veta,Colorado, Guest Gallery Mixed Media Show in Lilburn Georgia, Providence Gallery in Denver.

She is also a member of Artists Helping Artists .org . Candice who prefers to be called Candy also designs handbeaded jewelry displayed along with her paintings on the yessy Website. She apprenticed under jewelry designer Chipita Eagle of Chipita Accessories and Fundamentals in New York City.
