Jacques Bouquet
Self-made painter, as his grand father André Bouquet `naïf' international well-known artist, Jacques Bouquet began drawing and painting early in life. He found his real style in 1980 in the south of France were he stayed for five years. Coming back to the Parisian area he now lives at Marly le Roi, near Versailles. Jacques Bouquet is always painting in Paris, and surroundings, and also in some other countries. Some exibitions and prices have been adjudged to him during this period.
His themes and techniques are sundries with a leaning for watercolor and leaden-mine drawings. Influenced by French impressionists and American realists his paintings are of great detail and accuracy that makes his originality.
Houses, shops, villages, and snow landscapes are favorite themes for this figurative artist with a particular attraction for unusual scenes.
